McLAUGHLIN, Charlotte (Lottie) Werry[1878-1961]

MRS. CHARLOTTE LOTTIE E. WERRY - Seriously ill for the past five months, Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) Elizabeth Werry, formerly of 117 Colborne street east, Oshawa, died in Toronto, Monday. Mar. 27.  Born in Tyrone, Sept. 25, 1876, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William McLaughlin.  She was married in Tyrone, Dec 5, 1900.  Mrs. Werry was a resident of Oshawa for the past 38 years, coming here from Tyrone.  She was a member of King Street United Church and a life member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.  Mrs. Werry was predeceased by her husband,  the late Milton J. Werry, Sept. 12, 1953.  She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Walter Murray (Irene) of Toronto and Mrs. Philip Turner (Hazel) of Strathroy.  Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Cook, (Zillah) of Cooksville and Miss Florence McLaughlin of Toronto and one brother, Douglas of Oshawa.  Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.  The remains are at the Armstrong Funeral Home for memorial service in the Chapel, Thursday, Mar. 30, at 2pm.  Internment will follow in Bethesda /Cemetery.  Rev. M.A. Bury, minister of King Street United Church will conduct the services.  Friends are asked not to call at the funeral home before Wednesday.

WERRY - Entered into rest in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, March 27, 1961, Charlotte (Lottie) Elizabeth McLaughlin, beloved wife of the late Milton J. Werry and dear mother of Mrs. Walter Murray (Irene), Toronto; Mrs. Philip Turner (Hazel) Strathroy, in her 85th year.  Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, Oshawa, with memorial services in the Chapel on Thursday, March 30 at 2pm.  Internment Bethesda Cemetery.
