at the home of Mr. Wm. McLaughlin on Wednesday evening of last week, it being
the marriage of their eldest daughter Miss Lottie to Mr. Milton Werry. The
ceremony was ably performed by our pastor, Rev. J. McMullen, in the presence of
nearly one hundred friends. Miss E. Werry acted as bridesmaid, while Mr. Albert
McLaughlin supported the groom. After the wedding supper Mr. and Mrs. Werry left
on the evening train for Toronto amid showers of old boots and rice, to spend
their honeymoon. We all join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Werry a long, happy and
prosperous wedded life. The bride was the recipient of some very costly
presents.
